Lula Izoar Moore, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, died Monday, July 4, 2011, in Garland County.

She was born on January 29, 1935, in Hot Spring County. She worked as a nurse's aid for 32 years in the area hospitals and became an ordained minister with AEGA services in 1999. She taught Sunday school and was a member of Soul Harbor.

She was a deeply devoted Christian, committed to her family, her church and her community. She was a blessing to all who knew her.

She is survived by son, Wayne and his wife Jessie Moore of Malvern and daughter Pat and her husband Gerald Ross of Malvern; brothers, Thomas Denton from Mississippi and Pleze Denton of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Rodger Moore, Michael Moore, David Moore, Steven Moore, Fred Ross, Sondra Johnson, Misty Hudgins; great grandchildren, Noah Johnson, Seth Johnson, Kylie Hudgins, C.J Hudgin, Ethan Hudgins, Nicole Moore, Christopher Moore, Jeremy Wylie, Justin Wiley. Great great grandchildren Jacob and Hannah Wylie.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Moore, son, Calvin Moore and her sister, Sue Denson.

The funeral will be on Thursday, July 7, 2011, at eleven o'clock in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brothers Charlie Chambers, and Homer Larue officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Rodger Moore, Michael Moore, Steven Moore, David Moore, Christopher Moore, Fred Ross, Justin Wylie and Jeremy Wylie.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Noah Johnson, Seth Johnson, members of the Souls Harbor Church, Staff of St Joseph Hospital, and Staff of National Park Medical Center

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, from 5-8 pm at J.A. Funk Funeral Home.
