Lynda Polk Lumley, age 70 of Malvern, died Saturday, January 31, 2026 in Little Rock.  She was born in Mt. Moriah, Arkansas on September 8, 1955 to the late Dexter Taylor and Tennie Carr Taylor.  Lynda was reared and educated in Los Angeles, California.  She had been a caregiver for over 30 years, taking people into her home who had no other place to go.  She was the life partner of Arlin Sykes, whom she loved dearly.

She is also survived by two sons, Hank Polk (Jhon Jhon) of Malvern, and Charles Ray Polk, Jr. of California; ten grandchildren, London Polk, Davon Polk, Travon Polk, Tachena Polk, Uniecia Polk, Frank Brown, Candace Akins, Andy Polk, Charles Polk, III, and Danielle Polk; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Charlotte Driver.

Lynda was also preceded in death by four siblings.

There will be no service.
