Margaret Connell Borland Scott, age 66, of Malvern, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at her home. She was born in Malvern on December 27, 1948 to the late Jewell Connell and Margaret Edna Wheat Connell. Reared and receiving her early education in Malvern, she later received her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Henderson State University. During her career, Margaret had worked for the Department of Human Services and as Branch Director of Administration for Birch Tree Communities. She was a Baptist.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Scott, of Malvern, to whom she was married on November 14, 2011; by her daughter, Lori Lea Borland of Jacksonville; and by numerous cousins and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from five until seven o'clock at J. A. Funk Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at two o'clock Friday afternoon, January 30, 2015 at Big Creek Cemetery with Brother Scott Efird officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Monroe Wheat, Dale Jones, Lowell Mobley, Casey Jones, Jeff Jones, Paul Walker, John Connell, and Tim Connell.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Zachary Bradley, Alex Bradley, Brennan Bradley, Robbie Crenshaw, Bill Richardson, Marc Hansbraugh, and Terry Allen.
