Mary Homan Bramwell, age 76 of Malvern, died Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Gladewater, Texas on January 6, 1946 to the late John M. Homan and Lorene Whitaker Homan.  Reared and educated in Malvern, she was a 1964 graduate of Malvern High School.  Mary was a Baptist by denominateion.  She was the widow of the late Gene Bramwell, with whom she owned and operated Gene's Liquor for many years.  They loved to travel, and she   was a big fan of going to Las Vegas. Gene preceded her in death in 2005. Mary also had worked at the original Tastee Freeze in Malvern.  She loved her grandchildren, and tried never to miss wathching them play in their various sports.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori "Biki" Hall and Kasey Dammann both of Malvern; her grandchildren, Abby Dammann and Amsley Damman; her niece and nephew, Jim Homan and Amanda Homan O'Neal; and by other relatives and friends, too numerous to mention.

Mary was also preceded in death by two brothers, John Homan and Jim Homan; and by her sister-in-law, Shirley Watson Homan.

A visitation will begin at one o'clock Saturday afternoon, January 22, 2022, followed by the funeral service at two o'clock, both in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.  Brother Scott Efird will officiate.

The family strongly suggests that masks be worn by all in attendance.

Memorials are requested to the Alzheimer's Association.
