Mary Deere House, age 75 of Malvern, died Friday, September 17, 2021, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Bryant. She was born on January 4, 1946, in Malvern to the late Reuben Deere and Mildred Carver Deere. She attended elementary school at Gifford and graduated high school at Glen Rose. Mary was a Baptist by denomination. She worked as bookkeeper for J. J.'s Truck Stop for 32 years. Mary was the widow of the late Franklin "Joe" House, to whom she was married on June 1, 1963. He preceded her in death on August 9, 2020. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Lee House and his wife, Ellen, grandchildren, Jordyn House Efird (Joe), and Chad House; great-granddaughters, Jayla Yielding and Hadley Sloan House; two brothers, J. W. Deere and his wife, Mary Helen of Benton; Reuben "Buck" Deer and his wife Peggy of Maumelle; two sisters, Janie Yates of Benton, and Patricia Sullivan of Malvern; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be ten o'clock Tuesday morning, September 21, 2021, at Francois Cemetery.
Visitation will be from four until six o'clock on Monday, September 20, 2021, at J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
Masks will be required indoors.
The family extends their thanks to Saline Memorial Hospital, Arkansas Heart Hospital, Dr. Marianne Herrington, Dr. Michael Pafford, and Dr. Ray Bollen.
