Maxine Witten, age 89, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Little Rock. She was born in Malvern on November 2, 1927 to the late Earnest Hall and Myrtle Ault Hall. She was reared and educated in Malvern. She was the widow of the late Oliver Chambers, who preceded her in death in 1965, and Paul Witten, who preceded her in death in 1996. Maxine was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her nephews, Doyce Hardin of Malvern and Barry Hardin of Dallas; great-niece, Erica; and great nephews, Christopher and Matthew.

Maxine was also preceded in death by her beloved sister, Agee Hardin.

Graveside services will be at ten o'clock Saturday morning, November 5, 2016 in the Oak Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy Bobo officiating, and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
