Milrene Fite Tackett, age 91, of Malvern, died Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at her home.  She was born in Lono, Arkansas, on October 18, 1934 to the late David Williams and Alice Naylor Williams.  Reared and educated in Malvern, for 30 years she served as administrative assistant to the Superintendent of Malvern Public Schools.  Milrene was a longtime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri Fite Mauney (Cecil) of Malvern, grandchildren, Britani Skarda (Todd) of Malvern, and Seth Gray (Chelsey Shelnut) of Fayetteville; great-grandchildren, Avery Golz, Hudson Gray and Nora Gray, all of Fayetteville; sisters, Opal Sue Cox, Linda Chandler, and Barbara Draper, all of Malvern; by a sister-in-law, Marge Ann Hughes of Bismarck; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Milrene was also preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Hollis Fite, and by her second husband, Charles Tackett; her daughter, Vicki Gray; sister and brother-in-law, Glendene and Jerry Clark; and brothers-in-law, Donald Draper, Billy Cox, and Wayne Chandler.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 Friday morning, November 7, 2025, at Hunter's Chapel Cemetery in Dallas County, with Reverend Andrew Orr officiating and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1310 East Mill Street, Malvern, Arkansas 72104.
