Neadis H. Bost, age 92, of Pottsville , Arkansas , formerly of Malvern, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Little Rock . She was born on October 2, 1919 in Saline County , Arkansas to the late Joe and Victoria Masoner. Reared and educated in Saline County , she was the widow of the late Estel Bost, to whom she was married on September 4, 1937. Mrs. Bost was of the Baptist faith since her teen years, having been saved at a brush arbor meeting in Cooper and being baptized in Reyburn Creek.
She had been china painting since 1962, and had taught china painting since 1972. Mrs. Bost was a member of the International Porcelain Artists, Arkansas Teachers, Little Rock Porcelain Art Club, and Las Cruces , New Mexico Porcelain Artists. She was a member of the Charity Sunday School Class at third Baptist Church in Malvern prior to moving to Las Cruces . She moved to Pottsville , Arkansas in February of 2006.
Mrs. Bost was also preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers, and a son, Kenneth.
Survivors include her daughter, Alma Lou Bost LeQuieu of Pottsville, daughter-in-law Sylvia Bost Tate of Hot Springs, four granddaughters, Victoria Green of El Paso, Texas, Lori Burton of Bryant, Arkansas, Bett Burns of Collierville, Tennessee, and Cindy Leftwich of Senotobia, Mississippi; three grandsons, Kenny Bost of Jonesboro, Toney LeQuieu of Russellville and Billy LeQuieu of Malvern; 13 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at one o'clock Friday afternoon, October 7, 2011, in the Ten Mile Cemetery between Benton and Hot Springs with Brother Eric Burton officiating. A procession will leave the funeral home to arrive at the cemetery by 12:45 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Eric Burton, Cody Burton, Toney LeQuieu, Billy LeQuieu, and Dillon LeQuieu.
