Orville Leroy (Lee) McNees, Jr. age 68 of Redfield, died Friday, June 13, 2014 at his home. He was born on February 21, 1946 in Malvern to the late Orville L. McNees, Sr. and Tommie Williams McNees. Reared and receiving his early education in the Central Community and Hot Springs, he later attended Henderson State Teachers College, now HSU. For 35 years he was a waste water treatment plant operator. Lee was a Lutheran.

He is survived by his children, Heath B. McNees of Florida and Heather G. Clardy of Federal Way, Washington; by a step-son, Jaeson Riggan of Malvern; by a sister, Althea Jane Gardner of Illinois; by his granddaughters, Adria McNees, Killian Clardy, and Cassidy Clardy; by his step grandchildren, Devin Riggan, Arron Riggan, and Dawnielle Hughes; and a step-great-grandchild, Macie Hughes.

Lee was also preceded in death by a daughter Dawnyiel McNees, and a brother, Victor L. McNees.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday afternoon, June 19, 2014 at two o'clock in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Vicar Amanda Diller officiating.
