Obituary

Pat O. Ainsworth, age 90 of Malvern, died Friday, September 25, 2015 in the Baptist Health Medical Center in Malvern. She was born Pansy Juanita Oden in Hammon, Oklahoma on August 12, 1925 to the late Ollie Oden and Myrtle Britt Oden. Reared and educated in Oklahoma and Arkansas, she had worked for Timex Corporation, the Textile Mill, and retired from Amoco Foam Packaging. Pat attended the Shorewood Hills Assembly of God Church. She was an avid artist and hobbiest, and was known for her embroidery, sewing, and self-taught musical abilities on the keyboard and harmonica. Pat was a poet and had a passion for her beloved animals and her "Elvis" memorabilia collection. She was the widow of the late Robert T. Ainsworth, to whom she was married on December 14, 1947.

She is survived by three sons, Tommy Ainsworth (Charlotte) of Malvern, Jim R. Ainsworth (Ann) of Houston, Texas, and Richard Neff (Carolyn) of Royal, Arkansas; a brother, James R. Oden (Raylene) of Rogers, Arkansas; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Pat was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Owen, by a brother and a sister, and by her beloved Dalmatian, Pepper.

At her request, her body was cremated and there will be no services.
