Patricia Rook, age 82 of Malvern, died Monday, March 2, 2026 at Encore Healthcare and Rehab.  She was born on September 28, 1943 in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late Doyle Nutt and Burta Taylor Nutt.  Pat lived in Gould, Arkansas for a number of years, where she was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.  She was in the workforce for good portion of her life, working as a loan officer, a real estate broker, and an insurance agent.  Pat also served as account manager for farm operations at Cummins Prison for ten years.  She was the widow of the late James Herbert (Jim) Rook, who preceded her in death on March 16, 2007.  Pat was an avid Razorback fan, a fact of which anyone who knew her was aware.

Pat is survived by her son, Steve Rook and his wife, Connie, of Malvern; grandchildren, Taylor Rook and Grayson Rook; and by a brother, Tommy Nutt and his wife, Dottie, of Pueblo, Colorado.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Dark Corner Cemetery near Gould, Arkansas, on Monday afternoon, March 9, 2026, at 1:00, with Brother Dubs Byers officiating, and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home of Malvern.
