Evelyn Pauline (Polly) Wilson, age 58, of Prattsville, died Thursday night in the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born on August 30, 1951 in Hot Springs to the late Raymond and Mamie Garner Tubberville. Reared and educated in Hot Springs, Polly worked in the school cafeteria at Prattsville for over ten years, and, upon the school's closing, became a rural mail carrier. She was a Pentecostal, loved to raise vegetables and flowers, and collected cookbooks. Polly was the loving wife of George Wilson, to whom she was married on January 22, 1966 in Prattsville.

Survivors include her husband, George, of Prattsville; two daughters, Angela and her husband Robert Daniels of Sheridan, and Pamela Hyatt of Prattsville; one son, Raymond Wilson and his wife Annette, also of Prattsville; six brothers, Horace Tubberville and his wife, Ursula of Germany, James Tubberville of Prattsville, Darrell Tubberville, Steve Freeman, Michael Freeman and his wife Carolyn, and Bruce Freeman, all of Malvern; a sister, Norma and her husband Tim Anderson of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren, Steven Anderson, Shelby Harrington, Wyatt Wilson, David Wilson, Maggie Wilson, Courtney Camp, and Anthony Camp; and a great-grandson, William Anderson.

Polly was also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Tubberville, and two brothers, Wayne Tubberville and Mitchell Freeman.

Her funeral will be held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, August 17, 2010 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brothers Don Goodman, Al Michaels, and Billy Thompson officiating.
