Larry Stacy, age 82, of Rockport, died Sunday, August 9, 2026 in Bryant. He was born in Malvern on September 20, 1943, to the late Revies Douglas Stacy and Neva Grace Dyer Stacy. Reared and receiving his early education in Hot Spring County, he attended North Malvern Elementary school in the first and second grades; Adventist Church School from third through eighth grade; Malvern High School from ninth grade through eleventh grade; and graduated as a senior from Magnet Cove High School. Larry attended the Southern Baptist church. For a number of years, he worked in the mines for National Lead; and retired in 2004 from ALCOA, where he had worked in the lab for over 30 years. After retirement, he loved to travel with the love of his life to cheer on his grandkids and their teammates in all sporting events.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Stanley Stacy, to whom he was married on September 25, 1965; by his daughters, Lisa Ann Gibson (Dennis) of Rockport, and Gena Lynn Rednour (Sean) of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Carlee McClard (Nick), Laney Allen (Jace), Zac Rednour (Emily) and Zoee Rednour; and by two great-grandchildren, Myles McClard and Malcolm McClard.

Larry was also preceded in death by three sisters, Joyce, Betty, and Anne.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home at 10:00 Saturday morning, August 15, 2026, with Aaron Polk leading the service.

The family extends their gratitude to Heartland Care Center Memory Care, especially Blake; and to Elite Hospice in Bryant for their compassionate care of Larry.
