Rhonda J. Kett, age 60 of Rockmart, Georgia, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011. She was born in Bakersfield, California on August 29, 1950 to the late Loyle Garrett and Melba Gross Garrett. Reared and educated in California, she had been a resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia prior to moving to Georgia in the 1980's. She was a computer analyst and was employed by Fidelity Investment Services.

Survivors include her husband, Richard D. Kett of Rockmart, a son, Matthew Rook and his wife Charlotte of Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, and her mother, Melba Garrett of San Jose, California. Local relatives include cousins, A. J. Williams, Marcel Heinley, Bill Williams, Cletis Overton, Herman Overton, Bobby Overton, and John Allan Funk.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Garrett.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday morning at eleven o'clock, April 27, 2011 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brother Dennis Tillery officiating. Private interment will be in Cypress Cemetery at Willow.
