Rick McJunkin, age 57 of Malvern, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 9, 2012. He was born in Little Rock on October 20, 1954 to Ethel Brown McJunkin and the late Thomas E. McJunkin. Reared and educated in Malvern, he was a construction worker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church .

He is survived by his mother, Ethel McJunkin; wife, Jill; son and daughter-in-law Steven and Karla Cullins; three brothers, Thomas McJunkin (Tressie), Phillip McJunkin (Tammy), and Henry McJunkin; three sisters, Shelly Moore, Mary Stephens, all of Malvern, and Judy Rubly (David), of Magnet Cove; two grandchildren, Gloria Alvey and Matthew Sutton (Lorna) numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Rick was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rosie and Tressie McJunkin, and three brothers, Lenard, Kelly, and Kenneth McJunkin, a niece, Toni McJunkin, a nephew, Josh Burks. and great-nephew, Seth Lynn Thomas McJunkin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday afternoon, June 16, 2012 at one o'clock, in the Calvary Baptist Church on Hwy 67, south of Malvern, with Brothers Thomas McJunkin and Tim Hale officiating.

Following the service, light refreshments will be served in the church's fellowship hall. His ashes will ultimately be buried in the Mt. Harmony Cemetery at Haskell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Calvary Baptist Church .
