Robert S. Robertson, age 91 of Malvern, died Sunday, September 16, 2018 at his home. He was born on November 29, 1926 at Social Hill, Arkansas (Hot Spring County) to the late Robert Henry Robertson and Sarah Jane Ballard Robertson. Reared and receiving his early education in Social Hill, he joined the United States Navy after high school and served during World War II, and then in Korea. After his military service, Bob attended Draughon's Business College in Little Rock, and went on to a successful career with Brown and Root. He was a member of Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Robertson, to whom he was married on April 24, 2000 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas; his son, Robert D. Robertson and his wife, Sheryl, of McKinney, Texas; a granddaughter, Megan Robertson, and a grandson, William H. Robertson, both of McKinney; a sister, Mildred Smith and her husband, Loyd, of Malvern; and a multitude of nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, and family, all of whom he loved dearly.

Bob was also preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Elizabeth DuVall Robertson, five brothers and two sisters that he has joined in Heaven.

The family will receive friends at J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from five until seven o'clock.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock in the Parker Prospect Cemetery near Warren, Arkansas.
