Ronald Allen Axelson, 67, of Poyen, Ark., passed away at his home, Sunday, Feb 15, 2015. Ron was born in Little Rock on September 4th, 1947 to Donald and Jackie Axelson.

Ron was a talented artist who owned and operated his own painting business for most of his years. He had a delightful sense of humor that put smiles on people's faces. Most importantly, Ron loved his family and the Lord dearly.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Donald Axelson; brothers, Donnie Mark Axelson and Teddy Axelson; and his sister, Janice Young.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Axelson; children, Angela DeSmith, Alicia Walter, Matthew Axelson, and Amanda Axelson; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; mother, Jackie Axelson; sister, Laura Malone; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb 19, from 6 to 8pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb 20th at 10am at J.A. Funk Funeral Home, 318 Ash St, Malvern, AR 72104, (501) 332 4625.
