Rosa Ellen Manning Stone, age 81 of Malvern, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at her home.  She was born on July 31, 1939 in Malvern to the late Ralph Clayton Manning, Sr., and Louisa Catherine Porter Manning.  Reared and educated in Malvern, she was a homemaker, and for the past 30 years was a sitter and caregiver to many individuals who came to love her as family.  Rosa was a Baptist by denomination.  Her fondest memories were of holiday times spent at her parents' home.  She was the widow of the late Darrell Elwood (Karo) Stone, to whom she was married on August 8, 1961.  He preceded her in death on November 16, 1983.

Rosa is survived by her daughter, Sissy Stone of Malvern; two brothers, R. Clayton Manning, Jr. of Malvern, and Richard Manning of California; two sisters, Joyce Canada and Freda Bosley; two grandchildren, Eugene Johnson and Angel Johnson; and by four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Stan Stone, and a grandson, John Johnson.

A private graveside was held at Manning Cemetery under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
