Roy Lynne
"Bubbles" Brandon
Feb 14, 1964 — Jan 3, 2021
Roy Lynne "Bubbles" Brandon, age 56 of Glenwood and formerly of Malvern, died January 3, 2021 in Hot Springs. She was born in Malvern on February 14, 1964 to the late Roy Brandon and Hazel Louise "Peggy" Dorris Brandon. Reared and educated in Malvern, she was a graduate of Malvern High School, where she played saxophone in the band. Bubbles loved sports, especially baseball, and could cite statistics of every major league. Also an avid hockey, NASCAR and professional wrestling fan, she loved tennis and watching her favorite player, Rafael Nadal, perform on the courts. Bubbles worked at Phelan's pharmacy for eleven years, and, as a baby sitter on the side, helped to rear numerous children for the grateful families for whom she worked. She was a member of the Harmony Primitive Baptist Church in Donaldson.
She is survived by several cousins and many friends, including Christine Bittles, her Godmother.
She was preceded in death by her sister Cindy Brandon.
Graveside services will be held at ten o'clock Thursday morning, January 7, 2021 at Rockport Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Elder Neil Phelan, Jr. officiating.
A special thanks goes to Glenwood Healthcare and Rehab for their loving care of Bubbles, and to the nurses and staff in ICU at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Harmony Primitive Baptist Church at Donaldson.
