Obituary

Ruby Irene Robertson, age 87, of Hot Springs, beloved wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister-in-law, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Quapaw Rehabilitation Center in Hot Springs. She was born in the Antioch Community near Malvern on September 28, 1920 to the late Robert Edward and Ethel Elizabeth Siratt Hall. Reared and receiving her education in Hot Spring County, she lived her entire life in the counties of Hot Spring and Garland. During her working life, she had been employed at the General Motors Plant in Jones Mill, and at Lake Catherine Footwear. Mrs. Robertson was a member of the Jones Mill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Clark Robertson of Hot Springs, to whom she was married on July 1, 1941; by a son Carl B. Robertson and his wife, Debbie, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; by two grandsons, Brant and his wife Stacey Robertson, and Strett and his wife Brooke Robertson; and by four great-grandsons, Connor, Blake, Caymon, and Paden Robertson, all of Oklahoma City.

Mrs. Robertson was also preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Pearl Carter, and three brothers, Ray, Roy, and Rex Hall.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon, April 9, 2008 at three o'clock in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brother Oscar Golden officiating. Interment will follow in the Upper Antioch Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary on Tuesday evening from six until eight o'clock.
