Shari A. Westerman, age 70 of Malvern, died May 30, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. She was born in Malvern, Arkansason May 2, 1941 to C.P and Willa Currington. Shari was raised in Malvern and was employed as a cook for the local schools. Shari was a a loving wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrand mother, and friend.

She is survived by Daughter Charlotte Purifoy and husband Doug of Sherwood, Step daughters; Reba Westerman of Sherwood and Lynnae Wilson of Malvern ; Sister, Elaine Grigsby and husband Paul and brothers Charles Currington and his wife Debra of Dequeen, and Donny Currington of Magnet Cove. Grandchildren; Kelly and Stepha n Efurd, Kevin Wilson and Great Grandson Michael Efurd, plus many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Ray Westerman and her parents.

Visitation at J. A. Funk Funeral Home will be on Wednesday evening June 1from four until six o'clock.

Her funeral will be Thursday, June2 , 2011, at 10 o'clock, at North Malvern Assembly of God Church , with Brother Paul Grigsby, Brother Roger Wall, Doug Purifoy and Rob Blakney officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Kevin Wilson, Shane McCloud, Charles Amerson, Tom Herron, Stephan Efurd and Carroll Wetherton.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class.

The family will be at 419 McHenry Street, Malvern.

Memorials are requested to North Malvern Assembly of God Church .
