Sherlyn Rood Mabbett, age 55, of Malvern, died Sunday, March 20, 2016 in El Dorado. She was born in Malvern on August 4, 1960 to the late Wilbur Rood and Vernell Funk Rood. Reared and educated in Malvern, she was a carnival worker.

She is survived by her fianc, Mike Ward of El Dorado, and by other family and friends.

A private memorial service was held at Lono Cemetery.
