Sherry Diane Fryar, age 58 of Benton, died Monday, April 5, 2021 in Benton.  She was born on August 22, 1962 in Camden, Arkansas to the late Roy Edwin Brown and Joyce Miller Brown.  Reared and receiving her early education in Leola, Arkansas, she earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Henderson State University. She worked 30 years as an RN, serving the health needs of countless friends locally and also as a Traveling Nurse, pursuing her love of travel and adventure. After the death of her parents, she returned to the traveling nurse role, but then settled in Temecula, California a few years before returning to Arkansas in 2020 to be nearer to family and friends.

Her survivors include two sons, Jordan Jackson and Brady Fryar, both of Benton; her sister, Debbie Gilliam and her husband Mike of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren, Avery, Kenadee, and Brylee Jackson; nephews, Chris, Aaron, & Andrew Gilliam, several beloved cousins, and a host of wonderful friends. Besides her parents, she was reunited in Glory with her beloved Aunt Joann Byrd and Uncle Cleatus Miller.

A celebration of Sherry's life will be held at a later date.
