Terry Dean Davis, age 78 of Malvern, died Sunday, May 17, 2026 at his home.  He was born in Omak, Washington on June 13, 1947 to the late Loyd Davis and Nina Lewis Davis.  His family moved to Poyen, Arkansas in 1950, and that is where Terry received his early education.  He later attended Southern State University in Magnolia, Arkansas.  For most of his career, he worked in the wholesale/retail grocery business.  In 1965, he began working for the Banks family at the Food Center in Malvern, and the Wonder Market in Hot Springs.  He was currently co-owner of D. Davis and Company, a healthfood/antique and collectible store, on Main Street in Malvern.  Terry was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.  He loved sports, especially basketball, and enjoyed watching TV.  Terry was the husband of Diane Gates Davis, to whom he was married on June 1, 1988 in Benton, Arkansas.

Other survivors include his step-children, Meagan Honold Tucker (Brian) of St. Louis, James Pittman Honold (Lisa Anne) of Whidbey Island, Washington; Brandon Honold (Angel Marie) of Camano Island, Washington, and Christopher Ryan Honold (Victoria) of Greenville, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren, Heather, Dylan, Lauren, Luke, Collier, Maddeline, Abbigail Marie, Addison, Landon, Jameson, and Autumn; great-grandchildren, Aniston and Rhett; and the bulldog, Penelope.

He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Gates Kennedy.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 Saturday morning, May 23, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 609 Collie Road, Malvern, Arkansas.
