Theresa Lee Bailey, age 86 of Malvern, died Wednesday evening at Courtyard Gardens in Arkadelphia. She was born in Malvern on August 23, 1927 to the late Roy Lee and Marcella Williams Lee. Reared and educated in Malvern, she was a homemaker. She was an avid reader and loved to go for walks enjoying the beauty of nature. Mrs. Bailey was as member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Bailey of Malvern, to whom she was married on October 20, 1945; by her sons, Larry D. Bailey and his wife Jennie of Mabelvale, and Jeffery Scott Bailey of Malvern; two grandchildren, Lisa McDonald and Kimberly Bonds; four great-grandchildren, Cassidy McDonald, Cameron McDonald, Natalie Burns, and Brody Lane Bonds; and by three sisters, Carolyn Jones of Houston, Texas, Louise Crouse of Hot Springs, and Barbara Jo Gibbs of Malvern; seven nephews and two nieces.

Her funeral will be held at two o'clock Monday afternoon, October 14, 2013 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brother Mark Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in the Clear Creek Cemetery.

A visitation will precede the service on Monday, beginning at one o'clock.

Pallbearers will be Kirk McDonald, Kevin Bonds, Russ Gibbs, and Cary Smith.
