Thomas Donald "Tom" Henry, age 80, of Diamondhead, died Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at his home.  He was born in Lake Village, Arkansas on December 20, 1943, to the late Andrew Franklin Henry and Alma Leslie "Chubby" Kalb Henry.  Tom was a 1961 graduate of Malvern High School, and later attended college in Russellville.  For most of his working life, he was employed by Reynolds Metals Company in Jones Mills, Arkansas, Massena, New York, and Nigeria, Africa, before retiring to Diamondhead.  He had been a member of the Army National Guard, the Diamondhead Lions Club, and was a devoted member of the Diamondhead Community Church.  Once retired, he enjoyed reading, playing on his computer, and playing golf every day with his buddies.  Tom knew it was more blessed to give than to receive, and demonstrated that by serving the community at Samaritan Ministries feeding the hungry and homeless.  Tom was the widower of the late Nona "Scoot" Hogue Henry, to whom he was married on February 14, 1975.  She preceded him in death on November 25, 2020.

Along with his parents and his wife, Tom was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Andrew F. Henry, III "Butch" and Marsha Henry; a grandson, Kevin Nichols; and granddaughter, Breanna Robertson.

He is survived by his daughters, Julie Henry Wheetley (Arley), and Vanessa Robertson Bradley (Gerald), all of Hot Springs; son Alton Robertson, Jr.; grandsons, Cole Jester (Elizabeth), Dane Jester (Madeline), Bryan Land (Tonya), Jason Land (Kendra), and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Monday morning, December 9, 2024, at 11:00, at Diamondhead Community Church with Reverend Mike Fikes and Reverend Chuck Huffman officiating, and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.  A visitation will precede the service by one hour, beginning at 10:00.

His grandsons will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
