Obituary

Tommy E. Watts, age 59 of Malvern, died Thursday, October 16, 2014 in Hot Springs. He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on November 24, 1954 to the late Tom Henry Watts and Donalda Ruth Offutt Watts. Reared and receiving his early education in Pine Bluff, he was an electrician. Tommy was a member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church, Malvern. Always striving to help someone in need, he was involved in Kairos Prison Ministries, and was first in line to receive his delivery list for the annual Community Thanksgiving and Christmas Meals. An avid prayer warrior for his fellow man, he was in turn, the recipient of many a fervent prayer during his illness.

He is survived by two sons, Aaron Watts and his wife, Erin, and Zeth Watts and his wife Lauren; by a brother, Gary Watts of Bentonville, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Camery Watts, Christopher and Kylee Hill; and by two step-grandchildren, Caitlin and Dominique Benedict.

Tommy was also preceded in death by a son, Clinton Cory Watts; and by his beloved dog, Bubba Watts.

A memorial service will be held at six o'clock on Sunday evening, October 19, 2014 in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Carl McCormack and Reverend Catherine Allsbury officiating. A reception will follow in the church's fellowship hall.

Box 1687, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203; Community Holiday Meals, c/o First United Methodist Church, 127 East Page Avenue, Malvern, Arkansas 72104, and K-LOVE Radio, 90.1, which he listened to faithfully.
