Vicki Carol Fite Gray, age 69 of Malvern, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at her home.  She was born on July 30, 1954, in Hot Springs to Milrene Williams Fite and the late Hollis Fite.  Reared and receiving her early education in Malvern, she was a 1972 graduate of Malvern High School.  Vicki furthered her education at Henderson State University, where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in education. Vicki taught remedial reading for a time, and later worked for the Department of Education in Little Rock, Harcourt, Pearson, and NWEA.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Malvern.  She loved her family and friends, and fought her health battles with bravery and conviction, utilizing her deep faith to persevere.  Her strength was an example to all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Milrene Tackett of Malvern; her daughter Britani Skarda (Todd), also of Malvern; her son, Seth Gray (Chelsey Shelnut) of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Avery Golz, Hudson and Nora Gray; her sister, Terri Fite Mauney of Malvern; numerous special aunts and cousins; and Gary Gray, the father of her children.

Vicki was also preceded in death by her stepdad, Charles Tackett; grandparents, David and Alice B. Williams and Ernie and Vera Fite; and brother-in-law, Gary Tatum.

A memorial service will be held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, October 7, 2023, in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Dr. J. Earl Coker officiating.
