Cash Green
Oct 23, 1943 — Sep 16, 2026
Arkadelphia, AR
Virginia L Green, age 82 of the Joan Community, went to her eternal home with the Lord on September 16, 2026. She was born and raised in Malvern Arkansas, on October 23, 1943, to Cecil and Lucille Cash. She graduated from Malvern High School. Virginia loved the Lord and attended Bethlehem Methodist Church in Joan Arkansas. Virginia was a beautician by trade serving the community of Malvern for many years. Virginia married EB Green, September 16, 1961and rejoined him in a heavenly anniversary reunion. Together they raised a family of two children.
Preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Lucille Cash, husband E.B. Green, one brother Kenneth Cash (Pauline), son-in law William Efird, and sister-in law Robin Cash.
She is survived by her children, Paul Green (Carol) and daughter Janet Efird. Her grandchildren, Nathan Green (Shelby), Caitlin Green, Clay Doherty (Kayla, Cami and Kimber). She is also survived by one brother Bob Cash. She also has a multitude of nieces and nephews that were a very big part of her life.
Virginia Green was a very kind and selfless lady. She was known for never being still and always on the go. Her greatest pleasure was doing for others, all day every day. From sitting at the nursing home with friends, to cooking and canning. She spread her love around in many different forms. She loved to travel, shop, garden and being with her family. Just a few months ago she was out picking tomatoes with her daughter. Next, she would be planning what pies to bake for her son to take to deer camp. She had great pride in all her grandchildren. She would light up and be the first on board to make the trip to see them. She maintained her integrity and diligently worked daily to improve her condition with a positive attitude and determination. She was unable to overcome multiple medical problems and passed away at home with her family by her side. When we remember Virginia will be remembered as a servant of the Lord, Always there to help, Always on time, and Always making others’ lives easier any way she could. Humble and never asking for help herself…. selfless, loving and proud of her family.
