Welda Rhea Caddy Sherman, age 62 of Arkadelphia, formerly of Malvern, died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs. She was born on August 12, 1955 in Little Rock to the late Weldon Caddy and Ila Myers Caddy. Reared and receiving her early education in Malvern, she was a 1973 MHS graduate. Welda attended National Park Community College and worked as a caregiver. She was a member of Shepherd's Chapel.

Her survivors include two sons, Kalieb Sherman and Ben Sherman, both of Arkadelphia; a sister, Linda Byrd; and two grandchildren, Elijah Sherman and Rain Dugan.

A visitation will be held on Thursday evening, March 1, 2018 from five until seven o'clock at J. A. Funk Funeral Home.

There will be no funeral service.
