William L. Efird, age 64 of Donaldson, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, in Hot Springs.  He was born on February 10, 1959, in Malvern to the late Bobby R. Efird and Ilaree E. Efird.  Reared and educated in the Ouachita School District, he was a lifetime resident of this area.  William was a logger, raised cattle, and recently had worked as a guard at the Ouachita Unit, Arkansas Department of Correction.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  William was the husband of the former Janet Cecile Green, to whom he was married on September 26, 1991.

He is survived by his wife, Janet; by three sisters, Floyce Taylor of Donaldson, Mary Gaither (Shelby) of Benton, and Kathy Crow of Magnet Cove; two brothers, Bobby Harold Efird (Lisa) of South Carolina, and Timothy R. Efird of Bonnerdale; his mother-in-law, Virginia Green; brother-in-law, Paul Green (Carol), all of Arkadelphia; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

William was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ida Mae Efird and Alice Efird Tillery, and a brother-in-law, David Crow.
